
In 2021, BNP Paribas, an international group with more than 180,000 employees, welcomed a new Group Human Resources Director. This arrival has led to new strategic HR guidelines to support populations Leadership Talent with several objectives:
· Enabling RH Groupe to better understand the Group's Leadership Talents
· Strengthen the visibility of these profiles
· Promote transversal mobility within the various entities.
Faced with these challenges, BNP Paribas offers various collective and individual development offers.
On the individual support component for Leadership Talents, BNP Paribas launched a call for tenders to find a partner capable of supporting the development of its Leadership Talents with a tool to identify their strengths and areas for improvement and to work on their personal development.
Authentic Talent has distinguished itself thanks to its expertise and its use of the Hogan tool, making it possible to analyze the profiles of Leadership Talents with the key skills sought within the group.
This project was supervised by Emilie Guinault-Martino, Head of HR Policies & Leaders Development at BNP Paribas who shared with us the stages and results of this collaboration.

Authentic Talent supported BNP Paribas for six months to set up a personalized program for the individual development of its Leadership Talents, in close collaboration with the HR team. The main stages of the project included:
· Creating a custom report aligned with the needs of BNP Paribas : Creation of a tailor-made report, based on the Hogan tool and aligned with the six key skills expected from BNP Paribas Leaders.
· HR team certification : Emilie's team was trained and certified in the Hogan Assessments method in order to be able to conduct interviews and interpret the results.
· Global data analysis : After 18 months of use, BNP Paribas asked Authentic Talent for an overall analysis of the results of the questionnaires in order to identify the typical profile of a Leadership Talent at BNP Paribas and the possible additional development actions to be initiated.
Thanks to the support of Authentic Talent, BNP Paribas has achieved significant results:
· Creation of an adapted individual support offer : Emilie's team now has a clear offer to offer to BNP Paribas HR and employees, in addition to local initiatives, including the use of Hogan tests, a debriefing session by a certified person, the definition of a personalized development plan and possible follow-up sessions.
· More than 300 Leadership Talents supported : The program made it possible to meet and support more than 300 employees.
· An NPE between 80 and 90: the satisfaction of employees who have benefited from the program is very high, with very good qualitative feedback and a highly appreciated offer
· Optimized succession plans : This offer has made it possible to strengthen the visibility of certain Leadership Talents, with discovery meetings between Leadership Talents and decision-makers, and an expansion of the profiles proposed on succession plans.
· Talent Retention : Personalized individual support made it possible to contribute to the recognition of these profiles and to better identify their development needs and thus to play a role in the retention of key talents.
· Positive impact on diversity : The program highlighted female Leadership Talents, thus contributing to the feminization of leadership positions.
